| The village was calm, as it was every night. The buildings were not too close, but not awkwardly far apart. Every alley was cleaned, the citizens here taking pride in their homes. No building was trashy looking, each brick looking brand new in placement. Flaps of thick cloth covered each window, low, warm light filtered through if the inhabitants were awake.
Looking up at the cloudy sky, I could smell the rain before it came down. The fat drops hit me first as I stood on top of my Aunt's tavern. Silvers, greys, blacks, and the few blues that I could see swirled in the sky that now unleashed a blessing of life down upon us.
Nature and her blessings.. Always showering us with health..
Thinking of my home Tribe, located near the north, the cool night air seemed like nothing. Rain quickly soaked the bandages that covered my arms and legs, my qipao clinging to me. As my scarf was water repellent in material, I didn't have to worry about it soaking, and ruining.
The night was perfect. I couldn't smell anything due to the rain over powering it, my eyesight was at its highest, and my hearing was muffled by the rain. I was now ready to train further in my Taijutsu.

| Thoughts flashed through my mind, back to my scolding.
"You got drunk?! In public?! With our RIVALS?! What could have gotten into you? You represent me, Hyaku, and all of the Genin class, as you were waltzing around, wasted, and right in public. There were children there. Kids! Why, in all my years I've never..."
Xixas seemed uncomfortable, but he preached my ear off. Going on and on, saying that I was a bad example for the Genins. Knowing he was right, I felt my stomach drop every time I thought about it.
As a Taijutsu specialist, I was taught to have complete and utter control over my body- no matter what. Even when I was drunk, paralyzed, or broken. Needing to think further, I leaped from my aunts tavern, over to the next roof, then the next. My legs felt lighter as I sprang from one edge to the other, landing in complete silence. Going toward the southern part of Konoha, I let my muscles flex and flow with my movements. Changing positions, I went faster, planting my hands down as I landed, flipping my heels over my head before going for the next roof. Doing more leaps, twists in the air, I flexed every muscle that I had in some form, dancing through the air. Continuing, I knew that the rain should make the roofs slippery, but I didn't care. I could easily catch myself, or twist through the air to regain balance.
Such an empty night.. | |
